The Ethical Community Organizations of Edmonton respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6

in this city also known as Amiskwacîwâskahikan ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ. This place has long been a gathering place for
diverse
Indigenous peoples, including the Nehiyawak (Cree), Blackfoot, Nakota (Sioux), Haudenosaunee, Dene, Anishinaabek
(Ojibway), Saulteaux, Inuit and Métis. Their histories and cultures, along with those of other Treaty Peoples,
inform our commitment to living in ethical relationship with each other and with the land.
